If you have a retired iceberg salad at the back of your fridge that's too old for an actual salad, in 10 minutes you could make a nice snack. Works great with charred red sauce, but could be served with any other sauce you have: pesto, or even a salad dressing.

- sesame seeds
Directions
- Remove theĀ root from theĀ iceberg andĀ cut theĀ iceberg into 2Ā cmĀ slices, discard theĀ root.
- Char both sides onĀ aĀ pan without adding oil, onĀ medium-high heat, until softened andĀ burned aĀ bit.
- Serve with salt, sesame seeds, andĀ any sauce youĀ have.
